Welcome to RiverWolf Art Gallery. We are a small on-line gallery devoted to expressing our appreciation for the dog through artwork. My name is Cathy Moar, I have been drawing/painting my entire life. Dogs and painting them, are my focus in life. Dogs are the fuel and art is a means of expressing my appreciation, wonder and love for them. My sister Susan, who's work you will also see throughout this site, is a most welcome addition and ally in an artistic never-ending journey.

The things that drew me to painting dogs, their beauty, intelligence and strong spirit for life, are what I strive for when I create paintings of them or any dog. Paintings are a nice way to remember a special moment or time in our dogs life and are something we will always have. They become a lasting tribute to our friends when they are no longer with us.

I specialize in painting the Belgian dogand I do take commissions for other breeds.  My medium is mainly oils on canvas and the majority of my art pieces are created using photograph(s). I do take personal commissions and also do trophies and prizes for dog show clubs, special rates are applied. Please feel free to e-mail or snail-mail me any photo(s) of your dog for consideration.
